2nd ThatFellow Awards: Best Films

<h2 style=”text-align: justify;”>Best Film:

I actually made a top 25, but didn’t feel like listing them one by one because this then would be a very long post. So instead, I decided to break those 25 film into three tiers. Tier 1 consists of five films that I like but could use more improvements, they are the Berlin Film Festival Best Director winner BARBARA by Christian Petzold), the Iranian documentary THIS IS NOT A FILM by Jafar Panahi and Mojtaba Mirtahmasb, the sci-fi mind-bending LOOPER by Rian Johnson, the underappreciated American tale KILLING THEM SOFTLY (Andrew Dominik), and the coming of age tale GOODBYE, FIRST LOVE by Mia Hansen-Love.

Tier 2 consists of ten films that I really like that unfortunately bested by ten better films. They are:
